About dcmage
A focused DICOM workbench for technical imaging tasks
What dcmage is
dcmage is built and maintained by Michal Sadurski. It brings DICOM metadata editing, de-identification, volume inspection and change tracking into one workbench.
Not a medical device — for data management, not diagnosis. It is intended for research, data management, de-identification and technical quality review.
Why it exists
DICOM work often crosses several small tools: one for tags, another for anonymization, another for viewing, and a separate record of what changed. dcmage keeps those steps in one local workflow so the operator can review the source, the edit and the derived result together.
How product claims are checked
The four core feature descriptions on this site are linked to use cases in the project requirements. The build rejects an unknown link or a feature whose linked use cases are not shipped. Browser tests separately check the routes and metadata. These checks do not replace your own validation, but they make marketing drift visible during development.
Current availability
The browser app is available now. A native macOS release is planned. Both use the same core DICOM workflows.
